Holland TMS is looking for successful commission-only sales agents to market its product and services throughout the continental USA and Canada.

Customer Service Representative

Holland TMS is looking for a career-minded, growth-oriented individual to make a real and immediate impact to our daily operations. The work environment is fast-paced and requires a high-energy individual.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing “White Glove” customer service at all times
  • Soliciting freight from customers
  • Negotiating with carrier partners
  • Entering information into TMS system
  • Interacting with all departments to ensure driver compliance with all state and federal regulations  
  • Establish positive working relationships that allow additional business to be secured
  • Flexible availability to perform on-call duty consisting of but not limited to, checking on loads in transit after hours and responsible for calling a transportation service in the event of a driver breakdown, approximately every six weeks or as assigned by operations manager
  • Analyzing and recommending broad based innovative improvement initiatives for the account with a focus on eliminating root causes of recurring issues which leads to driving down costs and/or improving service
  • Using professional judgment to assess the impact of tactical decisions/actions on the customer
  • Balancing the customers’ needs with our company’s profitability
  • Other duties as assigned.


  • High school degree or equivalent qualification from an accredited institution
  • Relevant proven customer service experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop effective customer and teammate relationships
  • Must be able to orally communicate clearly and authoritatively and demonstrate strong customer service skills
  • Strong written communication skills required including knowledge of proper email etiquette
  • Ability to quickly learn technology and understand complex systems while working in an open environment.
